Soft matter interfaces: From biology to engineering applications

The conference will take place on Monte Verit?, the ETH conference site, in Ascona, Switzerland from 5th - 10th November 2017. The goal of the conference is attempting to identify common issues in high interface soft matter materials, where surface active species adsorb to interfaces and change their properties. Such complex interfaces occur in cells in biology, droplets in emulsions or bubbles in foams. Therefore the scope of the conference will span from biological systems with engineering processes.
