Prizes for the best posters at the JSMD 2018

The Jülich Soft Matter Days 2018 hosted 175 participants at the campus of Forschungszentrum Jülich from 20 to 23 November. 35 invited and contributed oral contributions were grouped into seven sessions covering the topics 



  • Cell Mechanics and Migration

  • Active Systems

  • DNA-based Macromolecules

  • Colloids and Proteins

  • Biopolymers

  • Flow and Microfluidics

  • Interfaces


The scientific programme was completed by two poster sessions, during which more than 100 posters were presented. A jury of internationally renowned participants selected the best three posters out of the many excellent contributions.


The winners were awarded a free one year subscription to Soft Matter and membership in the Royal Chemical Society, in adittion to prize money.
