Our confocal rheo-imaging setup combines a sensitive confocal microscope with resonant scanners (Leica SP8) with
a commercial rheometer (Physica MCR 301, Anton Paar), in order to achieve fast 3D image acquisition during rheological
measurements. This allows visualization of materials and basic analysis such as flow profiles to be performed in real time. The
setup allows for basic temperature control of the sample within a range of 10° to 40° C.
Alternatively, we also provide access to an epi-fluorescence widefield rheo-imaging system.
